Women’s Bible Studies

The women’s Bible studies are another wonderful way for the women of Church of the Redeemer (and beyond) to get to know one another, to reach out to other women, and to grow in relationship with our loving God.

In the fall, we will resume our usual weekly Bible study meetings. We will be using Job: Lessons in Comfort by Frances Poston Bennett to study the questions, mistakes, and fears of those who suffer and gain wisdom from our God, who himself suffered for us. Study books cost $14.00 and will be available at the first meeting.

The Fall 2010 Bible study groups are:

Tuesday mornings at Jamie Emrich's home in Indian Trail
9:30 - 11:30 a.m., Leaders: Lynda Strecker and Jen Averill
Tuesday mornings* at Francy Schroeter's home in Monroe

9:30 - 11:30 a.m., Leader: Wendy Cole
Tuesday evenings at Nancy Hall's home in Monroe
        7:00 p.m., Leader: Ella Barefoot
Thursday evenings at Anne Moore's home in Stallings

6:30 p.m. for fellowship, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. for the study
        Leader: Joanne DeBruyn

The groups will begin the week of September 13 and will last approximately 13 weeks. There will be no meetings the week of Thanksgiving.

Childcare will be available for a small fee at the Tuesday morning group at Jamie Emrich's home only. It will NOT be available at the other groups.

* This is not a typo. There are two Tuesday morning groups at two different locations.

If you would like to be a part of any of our studies or would like more information, please contact Becky Winfree through the church office at 704-225-0161 or info@redeemerweb.com.
