Recommended Reading
Here are some great books to help you "train up [your] child in the way he should go." (Proverbs 22:6)

Shepherding a Child’s Heart, Tedd Tripp
This is a great book for a broad biblical perspective on parenting. This book is both practical and aims at the "heart matters" of child-rearing.

Age of Opportunity: A Biblical Guide to Parenting Teens, Paul David Tripp
This book tackles the unique challenges of raising teens during the adolescent years. It offers a Reformed Christian perspective on growth, obedience, and sanctification. A must-read for any parent.

Soul Searching: The Religious and Spiritual Lives of American Teenagers, Christian Smith
This is an in-depth look at the way our contemporary society is affecting youth, how these youth are relating to religion, and how important authentic religious experience is in the lives of youth.

Training Hearts Teaching Minds: Family Devotions Based on the Shorter Catechism, Starr Meade
This book provides wonderful material for daily devotions.  It is based on the Westminster Shorter Catechism.  Each week, it covers a different question in the Catechism, and provides daily devotions based on scripture related to each question.  While the title suggests that this would be a great family devotion, it would also easily work for youth or adult individual devotions.
