Fun, food, and fellowship for empty nesters
MTNesters is a group for those who no longer have children for which they are responsible. On the first Saturday evening of each month, the MTNesters meet for Fun, Food, and Fellowship. Each month brings a variety of themes and activities. We had a "Wild Game Night," where we ate venison and quail and then played wild games. The "Western Party" offered barbecue and line dancing. At our "Christmas Carol Sing," we had Christmas dinner and learned about the origins of the carols, and the "County Fair" was an evening of down-home fare, along with the midway games of a county fair.
These monthly events offer an opportunity to get to know one another in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
