Mission Statement
Church of the Redeemer exists to exalt Christ first; evangelizing the lost with the gospel of grace; equipping the saints to live an authentic, gospel-centered life; engaging the culture and the world around us with mercy and mission so that we encourage the life and ministry of the Church.
Vision Statement (adopted May 2007)
God willing and trusting him to help us, in three to five years, Church of the Redeemer will be an inclusive, multigenerational church, settled in our own facility, and making disciples by evangelism, doubling the number of families, leaders, financial resources, and daughter churches for the glory of God and the advancement of his kingdom.
The 5 E's of our Mission
Exalt - Fundamentally, we want to exalt Christ by worshipping Him in all of life, both individually and together as a community. Few things are more satisfying than finding friends hungry for spiritual life in the one Author of Life.
Evangelize - We want to reach out with evangelistic love to those who don’t know the freeing love of Christ.
Equip - By loving, we also equip believers to experience authentic and Spirit-led living in every aspect of our complex and often broken lives. All men and women – believers and unbelievers – need the gospel of grace in our wins and losses.
Engage - Because we have been changed by the gospel ourselves, we desire to build a community that engages the struggling culture. By reaching out in mission and mercy, we can show hope in Christ’s redemption and restoration.
Encourage - Finally, we desire to encourage the church, inside and outside our walls, so we will know that we are not alone in this journey of life.
